December in Ness City, KS, is a time to come together and celebrate the joy of the season. As your local State Farm agent, I know how special the holidays are for our community, whether it's decorating our office, enjoying cozy gatherings, or braving the chilly weather for festive events. Amid all the joy, it’s also a good time to ensure your insurance needs are in order. Winter weather can bring unexpected challenges—make sure your home and vehicles are protected. Thinking of traveling this holiday season? Let’s review your coverage for comfort while you’re away.
December is also about giving, so consider how life insurance could be a lasting gift for your loved ones. If you have questions, my team and I are here to help. We’re proud to be part of your celebrations and are just a call away. Wishing you a warm and wonderful holiday season!
About Me: I am a born and raised Kansas girl and proud to be your local Ness City State Farm Agent. I knew at an early age that I wanted to help people; throughout my childhood and teens, I strived to work hard and help others. I studied Homicide Investigations, but then life threw me a curve ball when I met a western Kansas farm boy. I moved to Ness County in 2006, where I continue to reside with my husband and two children, on a piece of the 4th generation family farm. My hobbies include reading, animals, running my kiddos around, and having good coffee!
My Journey: Prior to opening my State Farm Agency, I earned my degree in Pastry Arts and owned a home-based cupcake business. I also worked as a medical biller and coder for an optometrist. My desire to help others caught up with me and that’s why I started my career with State Farm working under retired State Farm Agent Diz Washaliski. Working with Diz gave me the experience to provide our customers with auto, home, condo, renters, life, health, farm, and business insurance that fits their unique and individual needs. I believe that life insurance and health insurance are top priorities. Helping customers find their ideal number for life insurance and helping prepare them for the future is something that I take great pride in.
When the option to open my own State Farm agency presented itself in March 2020, I was more than excited to get started. I’m grateful for this amazing opportunity and I’m looking forward to continuing to help the communities I love and adore with insurance and financial services. I have an amazing team that is willing to go above and beyond to help our State Farm customers with any and all of their insurance needs. We strive to be those good neighbors that you can and will call in a time of need. Whether it is rejoicing in the miracle of life with you when you welcome a new baby into your family, celebrating the milestone of first-time drivers, the feeling of pride when your children graduate and move out, or when the unthinkable happens, we want to help people pick up the pieces if the storm ever comes and celebrate with you when the rainbow shines.
Community Involvement: I love being an active member of the Ness County community because connecting and communicating with people is something I really enjoy! I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce, National Notary Association, Rotary Club Member, part of the Midland Marketing Young Producers group, and I am also an active supporter of community events.
Out-of-State Policy Transfer: My Team and I are adjacent state-licensed, so if you are relocating to Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, or Oklahoma, we can assist with your insurance policy transfer for all lines of insurance business. We are also more than happy to help with walking through adjusting your insurance lines of business to make sure that you are appropriately insured.
